A central task for the LSC is formulating market intelligence on skills supply and demand, in particular, current or emerging skills shortages. This involves intensive engagement with industry to gather intelligence for the development of a number of important on-going projects. The data provided goes on to inform the allocation and priorities of funding of training programs in the State.

Our Industry Advisory Groups (IAG) are an excellent vehicle for Industry to have a voice regarding workforce development issues and we encourage your participation and contribution. The LSC is supported by the following IAGs:

IAGs provide valuable input into the continual improvement of training packages and the creation of new traineeships, as well as the input of data relating to workforce development and generally providing feedback on important issues.
